In 2015, Kent Wiechert acquired Goldwater Bank, N.A., located in Scottsdale, Arizona, in a stock purchase transaction. The two companies, Goldwater Bank and Weststar Mortgage, are aligned around their complimentary business lines, including Goldwater's national banking platform and retail mortgage origination channel and Weststar's private seller and mortgage loan servicing operations.
